Are the weather extremes around the world further evidence of climate change?
While the weather here is fairly standard for an Irish January, other parts of the world are experiencing extreme conditions.

These have ranged from a ‘bomb cyclone’ in the US that has brought ridiculously low temperatures, to raging heat in Australia, which had its third hottest year in 2017.
Professor John Sweeney of Maynooth University is from the geography department and talked to us today (11/01/18) about climate change.
