A major jobs boost for Shannon is being described as a huge vote of confidence in the Midwest region.
Luxury car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover has confirmed plans to open a software engineering centre and create 150 jobs in the Shannon Free Zone.
The IDA-backed investment also sees JLR partner with online education provider Udacity to provide courses from this base in artificial intelligence, robotics and data analytics.
