It’s hoped work will begin on the long anticipated Ennis South Flood Relief Scheme in the coming months.
The OPW has completed its review of the tender evaluation and is to liaise with Clare County Council on moving forward in the coming days.
It means it can now move towards construction – the scheme aims to install defences in Clonroadmore, Ballybeg and Clareabbey.
