Clare were beaten in Navan this afternoon as they traveled to Meath in the National Football League.
The first half was a relatively low scoring but tight affair, which saw Meath hold a two point lead at half time – the score six points to four.
However, a string of unanswered Meath points saw Clare’s hopes of victory decimated well before the full time whistle.
