Newmarket Celtic have progressed to the quarter finals of the FAI Junior Cup.
The Clare side beat Cork’s Grattan United in McDonagh Park 3-0 yesterday, and move onto the last 8 of the competition for the second time in the last three seasons.
Newmarket Celtic’s three goals all came from set pieces, with a Dave McCarthy free and two Eoin Hayes penalties before half time securing them the win.
