A prominent Mid West business figure has claimed that the Mid West has been “largely ignored” in the government’s long-term plan for the country.
CEO of Limerick Chamber Dr. James Ring has claimed that Project Ireland 2040 is going to do very little to reverse Ireland’s economic imbalance.
He also believes it represents what he calls “worrying confirmation” of a lack of political influence for this region at national level.
