120 people left Clare’s dole queues last month.
Half of the overall drop has come in Ennis, while the North Clare area also saw a significant reduction of over 50 in the number of people claiming some form of unemployment benefit.
In East Clare, the total signing on dropped under the 800 mark, while there was a rise of 12 in the West of the county.

The total number of people signing on in Clare now stands at 5,815, which is over 900 less than at the same time last year.
