A Clarecastle-based IT expert is warning of a spike in ‘hacking’ attempts on local businesses in recent weeks.

Edel Mee has said that auctioneers, accountants, and solicitors are being targeted.
She has also said that the hackers are getting much more sophisticated with each operation and that money has already been taken from local companies.
