UHL Trolley Numbers Spike While Visitor Restrictions Are In Place

The number of patients without a bed at the region’s main hospital has spiked once again, while visitor restrictions are in place to prevent the spread of flu.

The latest trolleywatch report from the INMO shows that there are 66 patients awaiting admission at University Hospital Limerick today, 41 of those on trolleys in the emergency department.

Meanwhile, management at the hospital have issued a fresh reminder that visitor restrictions remain in place at Dooradoyle to prevent the spread of illness.
