The draws for the 2018 Clare Senior and Intermediate Club championships will be made later this evening.
The format will follow that of recent years with 8 first round games in the top tier in both codes along with the intermediate hurling while the intermediate football championship will be run on a group basis.
There will be sweeping changes to the make up of the senior and intermediate football championships from 2019 onwards with five teams being relegated from the race for Jack Daly to make up two 12 team tiers.
It’s after a recommendation from the Football Review Committee which was passed at Convention and Committee member Joe Garry says it’s a decision that was made after extensive consultation with clubs.
