The Mayor of Ennis hopes Clarecastle can ‘make some noise’ when the main route into the village re-opens.
Emergency safety works have been ongoing at Latoon Bridge on the main artery into Clarecastle since November, which led to major concern over the impact on business.
The local authority has assured that they’re on track to finish the works by the expected date of the end of this month.

Clarecastle Fine Gael Councillor Paul Murphy says they’ve been sticking to their word so far and they’re now looking forward to Clarecastle being back up and running.
