Thousands of people took to the streets of Clare earlier to take part in this year’s Darkness Into Light walk.
Five charity walks took place in the Banner this year – Killaloe-Ballina, Ennis, Shannon, Doolin and Sixmilebridge.
The Clare participants joined around 200,000 around the world in raising funds for the mental health charity Pieta House.

It’s the first time Sixmilebridge has been involved in the walk, and organiser Bernie Conlon says it was excellent to see the community give the walk their support:
