Overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is persisting, with University Hospital Limerick once again topping the INMO’s daily trolleywatch report.
Nurses say 49 patients are without a bed at the Dooradoyle facility, up from 48 yesterday.
It’s once again the highest figure nationally and is six more than the next busiest facility.

It comes on a week when fresh concerns have been aired about the lack of bed capacity at UHL.
