Clare’s Chief Fire Officer says a new report into fire safety in Ireland will put an increased onus on building owners to ensure they are compliant with regulations.
The Fire Safety in Ireland Report has been launched nationally as the foundation for a rejuvenated fire safety regime.
It follows the Grenfell Tower disaster in the UK, in which 72 people lost their lives, which led to a review of safety regulations in many jurisdictions.

Adrian Kelly is welcoming the up-to-date report and says it’ll encourage building owners to play their part in preventing the worst.
