It’s claimed Clare County Council is on top of the housing crisis in this county, despite the challenges it presents.
The local authority is on track to begin work on 164 of the 195 social houses here that were set out as the 2018 target at the beginning of the year.
It’s expected that these will play a major part in reducing the waiting list of around 1,000 people who are seeking council accommodation.
