Separate investigations have been launched after fires were deliberately lit in two areas in South East Clare.
In the early hours of last Friday, cables next to the substation in Sixmilebridge were set on fire at around 3.45am.
While, on Saturday morning, between 9am and 12pm, a fires were lit at four locations on the dtich along the Gap road in Killaloe.

It comes as the Department of Agriculture has extended it’s fire warning until next Wednesday amid concerns over the high number of outdoor fires breaking out across the country during the heatwave.
