A group of volunteers from Clare have raised over €25,000 to help fund development projects in poverty-stricken parts of Uganda.
A team will travel to the central African country to work with Hospice Jinja, a foundation set up by Ennis couple Frank and Patricia Hassett, and the Walakuba Special Needs School.
Ahead of that trip, they’ve been working hard at fundraising and collecting clothes and other items to bring over.
