Galway have denied Clare a place in the Minor Football Championship semi-finals after a strong second half performance secured their place in the last four.
Clare had the upper hand in the first half and rushed to a seven point lead before Galway could register their own score.
The half-time score confirmed the Banner’s dominance as they went into the break eight points to three.

It was Galway who held control of the second half, however and soon drew ahead of a tired Clare side.
Maurice Walsh’s side could only manage three points throughout the half as Galway cruised to a 0-18 to 0-11 win.
