The Chair of Loop Head Tourism insists more long-stay tourists are desperately needed in the peninsula.
Ian Glenndinning is commenting in light of new figures from the CSO, which show that the number of overseas visitors coming to Ireland in the second quarter of this year rose by almost 200,000 compared with 2017.
There’s been a broad increase across the board in tourists coming from Britain, continental Europe and Northern America.
