Time for an issue which always seems to impassion listeners, litter.
Specifically, a recent study by IBAL (Irish Business Against Litter) showed Doolin Pier to be a litter blackspot. The group monitored more than 40 beaches, rivers and harbours around the country, with Lahinch and Kilkee also being highlighted as ‘littered’ and ‘moderatley littered’ respectively.
