Nurses say 57 patients have been left waiting on trolleys at the region’s main hospital today.

The latest figures from the INMO show University Hospital Limerick is once again the most overcrowded in the country today.

There were 35 waiting for beds in the emergency department this morning, with a further 22 being accomodated in overflow areas of wards.
