A teenager has appeared before a special court sitting, charged in connection with two car hijackings in Ennis.
The incident occured in the Station Road area of the town on Friday evening, between 5:45 and 6:30.
An 18 year old man was arrested and subsequently charged.

He was brought before a special court sitting in Nenagh yesterday where he was charged with theft, the taking of a vehicle, and possession of a knife.
He was remanded in custody and is due back in court in Ennis on Wednesday
