69 On Tolleys At Region’s Main Hospital

Nurses say there’s been a spike in the level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital once again today.

Figures from the INMO show 69 patients were left waiting for beds at University Hospital Limerick this morning.

49 of those were on trolleys in the Emergency Department, while a further 20 are being accomodated in overflow areas of wards.
