It’s claimed it’s crucial to put support in place for Clare’s older population so that they’re able to participate in society.
A new five-year Clare Age Friendly Strategy has been launched, which aims to address the challenges posed by a growth in the older population.
It was developed in consultation with key stakeholders, as well as research from the Healthy and Positive Ageing Initiative and outlines a number of actions for the next few years.
