Neylon Calls For Seasons Best Performance In Clare SFC Final

Miltown boss Michael Neylon feels they will need a seasons best performance if they’re to be crowned Clare Senior Football champions.

They take on Ennistymon in Sunday’s decider as they bid for their second title since 2015 in what will be their first appearance at this stage since being crowned champions.

The west Clare outfit have been on an impressive run to date in the championship with victories over Wolfe Tones, Doonbeg, Clondegad and Cratloe.

Neylon says they need to continue on an upward curve on Sunday.

Meanwhile Ennistymon selector Noel Crowe says there’s a huge excitement around the community ahead of Sunday’s final.

It’s the first time the club are featuring at this stage after taking down champions Kilmurry Ibrickane last time out.
