Work on a new social housing development of nine homes is to get underway in Clonlara next month.
The development is made up a mix of 2-, 3- and 4-bed homes, both bungalows and two storey houses, and is funded by the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government.
Clare County Council has signed a contract with pat Keogh Construction Ltd. to deliver the homes, and the development comes as other similar developments in Feakle, Shannon, Ennis and Quilty are also being pursued.

The new homes will be the final phase of the Glor na Srutha development, and Clonlara Councillor and Mayor of Clare Michael Begley hopes they’ll benefit local people.
