It’s been confirmed that Ennis will host the Munster Fleadh again in 2019.
Last July, tens of thousands of visitors and musicians descended on the county town for the regional stages of the traditional music festival, where they enjoyed nine days of concerts, workshops, sessions and performances.
At the Comhaltas Munster Council meeting last night in Mallow, it was confirmed that it will return to the county town next summer, only the second time the Munster Fleadh has been held in the same town, two years in a row.

Chair of Clare Comhaltas, Joe Arkins says it’s an unusual but welcome honour.
