There’s silverware coming home to Newmarket-on-Fergus, after the town’s hurlers battled through wet conditions to win the 2018 Clare Cup.
Kilmaley provided the opposition in Sixmilebridge last night in a low-scoring game that was hampered by heavy rainfall.
Colin Ryan put six of Newmarket’s tally of 10 points over the bar, while Kilmaley managed seven points during the game.
