Tubber jockey Derek O’Connor says winning his Ride of the Year Award has been the highlight of his career to date.
He was honoured at last night’s Horse Racing Ireland Awards, for his race aboard Edwulf in the Unibet Gold Cup at Leopardstown back in February.
It’s the first year this category has featured at the awards.
