A low-level weather alert is in place for Clare tonight.
Met Éireann has forecast winds of up to 65 kilometres per hour and gusts of up to 110 kilometres per hour, with coastal areas bearing the brunt of the conditions.
The alert, which also covers Limerick, Connaught, Kerry, Donegal and Cavan comes into force from 10 o’clock tonight and remains in place until 9 o’clock tomorrow morning.
