Gardaí from Clare and Limerick have seized cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of 97 thousand euro.
Two people were arrested during a joint operation, including one man who was in a car that was stopped on the M18 motorway, near Dromoland, last evening.
At around 7pm last evening, Gardaí stopped a car at Junction 11 of the M18 motorway.
Cocaine with a street value of 56 thousand euro was found, and a 41-year-old man was arrested and is being questioned at Ennis Garda Station.
As part of a follow-up search at a house in Castleconnell, Co. limerick, cocaine worth 17 thousand 500 euro and cannabis worth 24 thousand was also found.
A 36-year-old man was arrested during the search and he is being held at Henry Street Garda Station.
The investigation is ongoing.
