Council Braced For Brexit But Cannot Prepare For All Outcomes

The Cathaoirleach of Clare County Council insists the local authority is braced for Brexit, but has warned it’s impossible to insulate against all eventualities.

Next year will see progression on a number of significant developments in Clare, including a data centre for Ennis, works on Blake’s Corner in Ennistymon, as well as the Irish Open coming to Lahinch.

But this is all in the shadow of the UK’s planned departure from the EU in March, which is causing serious economic concerns here and further afield.
