Farmers Apprehensive Heading Into New Year

The Clare chair of the ICMSA says farmers are apprehensive heading into the New Year, after what’s been a difficult 2018.

A year of extreme weather left many out of pocket, thanks to the fodder crisis at the beginning of the spring, followed by the severe drought conditions in the summer.

But with Brexit on the horizon, it’s feared they’re facing into an event more arduous 12 months.
