Students from eight schools in Clare are presenting their projects at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition today.
The annual exhibition opens in the RDS in Dublin this afternoon, with doors opening to the public from tomorrow.
A total of 550 projects will be on display including ones from schools in Spanish Point, Ennis, Lisdoonvarna and Killaloe.
