Those visiting West Clare’s beaches are being urged to pick up just three pieces of plastic and bin them, to play their part in keeping the coasts clean.
The Three for the Sea initiative has seen permanent signage installed at beaches in Spanish Point, Whitestrand and Miltown Malbay, encouraging people to do so on their walks.
