Call for safer selfies in the wake of Cliffs fatality

Gavin was joined by Cillian Murphy, Kilkee-based tourism consultant and Orla Vaughan Kilfenora business woman from Vaughan’s Bar about a new call from a Junior Minister to introduce ‘selfie stands’ to be installed around the coast to prevent any further tragedies. It comes just weeks after an Indian student died after falling from the Cliffs of Moher while taking a selfie. Minister Jim Daly says says the proposal hopes to solve one of the biggest difficulties for tourists at well known beauty spots. Listen back below:
