The Education Minister has turned the sod on the Limerick Institute of Technology’s new campus at Coonagh.
The €11.5 million project forms part of the Project Ireland 2040 plan and will see a 750-student development built there.
Joe McHugh has officially marked the beginning of Phase 1 of the campus on the brownfield site, which will see a dedicated engineering block once it’s completed.
