A proposal is to be prepared aiming to secure Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann for Ennis once again, within the next five years.
The traditional music festival was held in the county town in 2016 and 2017, following a near-40 year absence and was widely acclaimed as a massive success.
Now, the Ennis Municipal District and Clare Comhaltas are to work together to call on Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann to look back to this county as a location for another Fleadh by 2024.
