The under 21 Hurling Championships are underway.
Kilmaley have beaten Sixmilebridge 1-18 to 0-12 in the A quarter-final in Clarecastle. Peter Ronan with the goal.
St. Joseph’s Doora/Barefield also booked their place in the semi-final coming through Clarecastle after extra-time. The score was 2-18 to 2-17.
And Scariff/Ogonnelloe were 1-16 to 0-17 against Cratloe in the preliminary round. Mark Rodgers converted two late frees, fresh off winning an All-Ireland Minor Handball semi-final earlier in the day.
In the B Championship,
Wolfe Tones beat Corofin 1-15 to 2-10 to book their place in the last four.
In the preliminary round, Broadford were 2-16 to 2-8 winners over Eire Og, Ennis. And Gary Cooney scored 11 points as O’Callaghan’s Mills beat Tulla 0-16 to 0-14.
In the C championship quarter-final, Bodyke have beaten Kilmaley 1-19 to 1-17.
