Two Claremen were meant to manage opposing sides for an All-Ireland Final yesterday only to see the teams showed up at different venues.
Limerick colleges UL and LIT were to contest the Freshers Hurling decider.
LIT, managed by Sixmilebridge’s Brian Culbert, togged out in their college grounds after Croke Park decided to toss for home venue on Monday.

UL, under Cratloe’s Joe McGrath, headed to Mary Immaculate College, the original venue.
UL, LIT and Croke Park had agreed to play the fresher 1 final in MICL. The venue was changed by CCC with no basis for the change. UL will be honoring the agreed fixture and will be in Mary I today for 4:30pm

Both sides completed their warm-ups and took team photos but no match took place.
Cork referee Cathal McAllister was in LIT and his report will determine the CCC’s ruling.
