Dr Pádraig Óg Ó Ruairc on Robert Byrne Commemoration

Dr Pádraig Óg Ó Ruairc told us about the commemoration to be held at the Robert Byrne Monument at Knockalisheen, Meelick at 2pm on Saturday. The event will mark the 100th year anniversary of the death of Robert Byrne who was the first IRA Volunteer to be killed by British Forces during the War of Independence.
