Six Clare Cup Games In Hurling Today

Six games in the Clare Cup are today’s showpiece games on the local hurling scene.

Action begins at 2pm when Éire Óg host Tubber in Division 1B. Whitegate entertain Broadford at 5pm with Ballyea taking on O’Callaghan’s Mills at 6pm.

In Division 1A, Tulla welcome Inagh/Kilnamona at 3pm, while at 5.45pm, it’s Clonlara vs Clooney/Quin, and Feakle against Kilmaley.

In last night’s action goals from Paul Corry and Kevin Lynch allowed Sixmilebridge run out 2-19 to 0-10 winners over Cratloe in Division 1A.

And St. Joseph’s Doora/Barefield came from behind to beat Clarecastle 1-16 to 1-14 in Division 1B.

In the football league, St. Joseph’s Miltown/Malbay beat Lissycasey 0-17 to 0-5 in Division 4.
