Minors Believed They Could Make All-Ireland Final – Maloney

Clare’s minor camogie manager claims her players were always confident they could get into the All-Ireland Final.

The Banner were major outsiders against a Tipperary outfit who looked dominant in their four round-robin victories.

But despite a poor outing against Kilkenny, Clare’s players showed great determination against the Premier County and were rewarded with Lorna McNamara’s winning score.

Dervilla Maloney says her team progressed as a unit throughout the championship.

The All-Ireland minor camogie final between Clare and Cork will take place in McDonagh Park, Nenagh next Saturday at 3pm.
