Clare County Fire and Rescue Service is attending a large gorse fire in North Clare this evening.
The blaze was reported to emergency services at around 5 o’clock this evening, with two units and a jeep from Ennis Fire Station currently attending the incident just north of Kells Cross, Corofin.
It comes as a High Risk fire warning has been issued for Clare, meaning wildfires are likely this week as temperatures soar.
