Motorists travelling between Drumullan and Ballycar in East Clare next week are being warned to expect delays.
Clare County Council is carrying out improvement works on the road there at Finlough from Monday to Thursday.
A temporary diversion will be in place for the duration.

Separately, the Cooraclare to Cree road will be closed on Monday and on Wednesday for works, with temporary diversions in place.
