Green Light For Accessibility Works At Ennis Railway Station

Works to improve accessibility at Ennis Railway Station have been given the green light by the local authority.

Last month, Irish Rail lodged plans for the removal of the existing temporary steel footbridge, modifications to the platforms and fences and a new accessible passenger footbridge.

Clare County Council has now granted permission for the works subject to a number of conditions.
