Clare Everest Climber Concerned Over Access Issues

There’s been a huge outpouring of sadness at the separate deaths of two Irish men on the slopes of Mount Everest – Kevin Hynes from Galway and Wicklow man Seamus Lawless.

It comes amid reports and images of long queues and congestion on the way to the summit. John Burke from Spanish Point got to the top on May 16, 2017, and he told Morning Focus of his concerns over the regulation of access on the mountain.
