Two-time Major champion Martin Kaymer is the latest big name confirmed for next month’s Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in Lahinch.
The 34-year-old was a member of tournament host Paul McGinley’s Ryder Cup winning European team in Gleneagles five years ago.
The German golfer won the US PGA Championship in 2010 and added the US Open in 2014.
It’s Kaymer’s fifth appearance in the tournament and he joins a strong field including other major winners like Padraig McHarrington, Graeme McDowell, Tommy Fleetwood and defending champion Russell Knox.
Really excited to have @MKaymer59 come to the #DDFIrishOpen this summer.
