Clare motorists are going green in greater numbers.
New CSO figures show 28 electric and 113 hybrid cars were registered here in the first six months of this year.
That total number of 141 is close to the levels recorded in all of 2018, which in turn was significantly higher than in previous years.

The figure reflects a growing shift nationally towards more environmentally friendly electric and hybrid cars.
