The level of overcrowding at the region’s main hospital is continuing to fall.
But according to the latest INMO figures, University Hospital Limerick remains the busiest in the country.
51 patients were left waiting on trolleys there this morning, 29 of those in the emergency department.

The overall figure is 13 more than the next busiest hospital.
